History testifies that some of the world’s greatest leaders were forged in the fires of difficulty, challenge, and uncertainty. But who gets to be the leader? In times of pressure, be prepared for a leadership struggle. The struggle that you might experience is an internal one and it is between your soul, spirit, and body. Body
When times of challenge are felt the body likes to take charge and create a peace plan. This could be a greater desire to achieve physical goals, and to release stress through activity. Physical exercise will add your health, endurance and strength – all of these attributes will increase your longevity and sharpness in the workplace. However, you may find that despite your best efforts at satisfying the body’s appetites you are still dealing with the underlying effects of stress.
"Physical exercise has some value, but spiritual exercise is valuable in every way, because it promises life both for the present and for the future."

Soul
Your soul refers to your mind, will, and emotions. It finds its expression through feelings and desires. It can be tempting to deal with pressure and stress by appeasing the appetites of the soul. We can look for respite from things like entertainment, gaming, social media – things which stimulate our soul. When we lead from our soul it can be evident to our co-workers, we might become more prone to volatility in our emotions. We can be quick to become angry or become aloof. These are very real issues for a leader to navigate, not just themselves but their entire organization. Leading from the soul can be a great asset also, it provides leaders with an ability to read the atmosphere and culture. The EQ (emotional quotient) of a leader is also higher when they are able to use their soul in an effective way

Romans 8:5-6 ISV
Spirit
Your body and your soul are great contributors, but they are not the best equipped to lead your life. Your Spirit is best equipped to be the leader of your life. This is because it is this area that we are joined to God’s perfect will and ways, it is a conduit to God’s goodness. Our Spirit has access to peace that surpasses understanding, it provides Godly wisdom and grace. Our connection to God is the best place to lead our businesses from.
